High School Athletic Training Program Coordinator, Jason Rodriguez, MS, LAT, ATC has spent nearly a decade providing athletic training coverage to the student-athletes of Southwest Louisiana, both at the collegiate and high school level. While fulfilling his duties as a high school athletic trainer, he also provided host coverage for numerous LHSAA State Tournaments, including softball, baseball, and cheer/dance. Prior to that, he served as the primary athletic trainer for the McNeese State University Menís Basketball team. Jason earned a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training from Southeastern Louisiana University and a Master of Science in Health and Human Performance with a concentration in Exercise Physiology from McNeese State University. He is both nationally certified and state licensed as an athletic trainer since 2007.








Rachel Carlson, MS, LAT, ATC, CES, is originally from Benton, LA. She is a graduate of Louisiana State University-Shreveport and Stephen F. Austin University. She is a certified athletic trainer and is licensed in Louisiana and Florida. Her clinical training experience was with various athletic programs at Stephen F. Austin and McNeese State University. She also completed internships at the University of North Texas and with the Washington Mystics of the WNBA.












Jennifer Doucet, MS, LAT, ATC, is originally from Iota, LA. She is a graduate of McNeese State University. She is a certified athletic trainer and licensed by the state of Louisiana. Most of her clinical training experience was with various McNeese athletic programs.








Jeffery Fontenot, LAT, ATC, a Eunice native, holds an undergraduate degree in athletic training from McNeese State University. He is a certified member of the National Athletic Trainersí Association and licensed by the state of Louisiana. Most of his clinical training experience was with various McNeese athletic programs.








Travis Theriot, MS, LAT, ATC, a Jennings native, holds a Bachelor of Science degree in athletic training and a Master of Science degree in Human Performance from McNeese State University. He is a BOC Certified Athletic Trainer, and licensed by the state of Louisiana. A majority of Theriotís clinical training experience was spent caring for McNeese State University Athletes.





Jessica Veillon, MS, LAT, ATC, is from Westlake and earned an undergraduate degree in athletic training from McNeese State University and a Master of Science degree in exercise science from the University of Louisiana-Monroe. She is a certified member of the National Athletic Trainersí Association and licensed by the state of Louisiana.
