About Dr. Marcus Soileau, D.P.M
Originally from Elton, Louisiana, Dr. Soileau earned an undergraduate degree in biological sciences from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge. He finished first in his class while earning a Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree from Kent State University College of Podiatric Medicine in Independence Ohio.
While pursuing his degree, Dr. Soileau worked as a Teacher’s Assistant and Academic Tutor at the Kent State University College of Podiatric Medicine. He served as the Director of Clinical Affairs for the Ohio Podiatric Medical Students Association (OPMSA) and was a member of the American Podiatric Medical Students Association and a student member of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. As a volunteer, Dr. Soileau helped organize the Surgical Jamboree for the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, Great Lakes. His volunteer activities also included Toys for Tots, Selma Family Emergency Shelter, and Parma Hunger Center.
